My interest in workplace ergonomics began back in 1994 after I attended a seminar on treatment of Repetitive Stress Injuries. As it turns out,  once you get a Repetitive Stress Injury – also known as Cumulative Trauma Injury – they are impossible to effectively treat unless the source of the stress removed or mitigated.

Most of my RSI patients were complaining of a combination of neck pain, shoulder pain, arm pain and hand pain (essentially carpal tunnel syndrome) and that reaching to the desk for the mouse seemed to make everything worse.  Pain that is associated with reaching to the desk for the mouse is what led to the development of the Ergo Nav.

The Ergo Nav allows the mouse to be placed close to your body (no reaching), and it has the ability to tilt side to side and up and down in order to further reduce ergonomic and postural stress.
